Daz Posted March 19, 2011 Share Posted March 19, 2011 Set plays were awful. Crossing was equally dire. Competed, but with very little belief - so the result was somewhat inevitable. Created nothing and we looked lacklustre and dull. Can't wait for the season to finish, but if anyone doubts we don't need major surgery, then they must be on a different planet. We just don't know how to score goals, or control matches. We simply do not have the players to get a hold of a match and make the opposition defend for prolonged periods... I agree, we were comfortable against a very good confident side, the first goal was annoying but the second was jammy sought of thing that happens when you only have bad luck. Sat in a boozer in Southampton now and despite everything, im not too disappointed. We just didnt have the quality in final 3rd they did.
