BIG D
Yep - would be v.v. happy if we'd got a few more quid for Grant, but as it turns out it's not a bad replacement. Been away, how much did we get for Grant?
Sam779
I'm very pleased with this signing. Think I'd rather have Weaver than Grant anyway. Or am I being a bit silly?
Sam-The-Owl
Been away, how much did we get for Grant? £1 million.
Beholder
Would have thought he'd be on less money than Grant was which could mean a bit more leeway in the budget for another player? Not to mention the fee for Grant....some of which must surely be left over from the taxman?

Sam779
Been away, how much did we get for Grant? It was undisclosed. But believed to be £1.1m plus £350,000 if he makes 50(?) appearances and another £350,000 if he makes 150(?) or they return to the Premier League. (I think this was the rumour we settled on)
BIG D
£1 million. Robbed by a flipping dimwit.

Tyto Alba
Given our situation I think this has been decent business by us, certainly nothing to get too upset about if you're realistic.
Sam-The-Owl
Not so robbed if this is the case. Didn't realise it was like that. I just thought it was a straight one million. Anyway, here are a couple of views from the Dundee fans. 1
fife_owl
As has been said, good business. I am convinced that this has been lined up for a while as per the YP article. Good luck, great to have an owl in goal again.

trev
Not a bad signing, so was he a premier leagues clubs back-up last season? (Burnleys?) If so, not a bad signing on a free for a league one club. He`s younger than I thought too...pretty much in his prime for a goalkeeper. Should add a bit of confidence at the back, I hope hes a shouter. Benjani
Decent signing, happy enough - glad its only a one year deal at this moment in time too. But more than adequate for League 1 and better than some of the other freebies available.
Russy
How old is he? 31. I thought 28 was the "prime" for a keeper. I'm happy with this, will do a job in the league we are in.
