BRUCE LEE
Apparently we know this player well and Irvine has said on Radio Sheffield it wont be a player in contract. That points to one man who can spearhead our promotion season. WARREN FEENEY.....Take a bow son! I saw him for about 3 minutes. Heard a viscous rumour that Deon may return. Shifty Powers
Heard a viscous rumour that Deon may return. That would be a quality signing. I would love to see him back. Edited June 9, 2010 by Shifty Powers
swfcGibbo
I saw him for about 3 minutes. Heard a viscous rumour that Deon may return. Bit old now. Cant see that one. Pretty apprehensive myself though. With Nolan and Varney out of the picture due to contractual situations id be worried at anybody else to be honest. Maybe Big Ron is coming back as Technical Advisor? Bet our new signing wouldn't be smiling so much if big Ron returned, Especially if he is a bit lazy! we all know what happens then!

waddleisgod
Alan Irvine has said today on RS that we wont be signing anyone who is 'IN CONTRACT'...so let's just forget about Varney, Nolan and Parkin. i expect Nolan and Parkin to have their contracts cancelled by mutual consent, and i think we could sign Varney on loan again
Saxondale
i expect Nolan and Parkin to have their contracts cancelled by mutual consent, and i think we could sign Varney on loan again Really? Even though they only have a slightly bigger pot than us to wee wee in?
waddleisgod
Really? Even though they only have a slightly bigger pot than us to wee wee in? i can't seem them being on high wages, a small handshake payment will be good for preston in their financial position to get them off the wage bill, and it will work out better for Parkin and Nolan to get a contract for 2 or 3 years in the current climate, than risking waiting till next summer when even more footballers will be available on the cheap. Shifty Powers
Could it be super Steve Maclean? Still scored a few goals in Scotland last season. I would love either Deon or Macca back tbh.
vulture_squadron
Still scored a few goals in Scotland last season. I would love either Deon or Macca back tbh. Really? Macca perhaps, but Deon was too short for a target man and isn't exactly a poacher.
