Personally I think Hunt has had two poor games against Norwich and Burton.

I would like to think that if a player has a couple of poor games, no matter who then someone else should get a chance.

Personally I would drop Hunt and Wallace for this game and bring in FF and Palmer, with either Abdi or Lee playing on the right but keep the midfield narrow and allow the fullbacks space to get forward!

Hunt wasn't good against Norwich  or Villa in my opinion.

Offered nothing going forward, gave the ball away easily like usual, and especially against Villa got ran ragged down his side in the second half. It was clear Norwich also targeted him and they had quite a few chances that stemmed from his side.

I like the energy Hunt provides. I just wish he would trust himself to run at people more and take them on. He has the pace to do so. Defensively he seems to be out of position at times.

Both him and Pudil need to put more crosses into the box, that is what gas been glaring to me in the first few games. We have goalscorers/poachers in the side, stick it in the box, good things might happen.

Overall, I do t think you can fault his enthusiasm, but he needs a but more consistency.

Needs an upgrade.

3 players but not none of the standard required for the league position we aspire to in my opinion.

Hunt has neither assuredness at the back or end product at the other end.

Palmer,  I like him but he is a converted midfielder. Decent as a back up, but not really specialist in that position. Prone to the odd mistake.

Vermijl. Hardly seen enough of him to judge. But nowhere near the first team.

Would like to see us chuck some money at this position.

Someone of the standard or Roland Nillson would do nicely...or one who can really threaten in an attacking sense.

Yes yes yes, finally someone agrees that hunt is simply not good enough, most of the goals we concede have been through him

so if westwood messes up for 2 games  you'd have him out the team .....if  forestieri or bannan are anonymous in the next couple  perhaps they should have had a spell in the dev squad ..............sorry but a good player is a good player and think they deserve more than a couple of games before they get binned .

The issue with Hunt is, does he compensate in attacking areas enough for his obvious defensive frailties.

Id say the jury is very much out.

For me too. I prefer him over Palmer, but a year on, I can't say I've really seen much improvement in Hunt's defensive play.

Some will suggest he'll get better, but the question should really be why hasn't he already.

Find us the next Nillson and id gladly see as back up right back ,but right now Hunt is is best we have ,and in my opinion way better than either Palmer and Vermarj
