We need 74 Pts

We've a ten point gap to close, its going to require teams below us doing us some favours by beating the top team, but come the end of the season we may be in the playoffs.

Realistically 70 points sees you into the playoffs, but we probably need 74 as last year it was a tight table and this year looks like the same again.

So we need over 33 Pts to get into the league, I've done my prediction based on current forms as I think teams like Norwich and Middlesbrough are only going to improve. Whereas Millwall and Leeds are only going to get worse. Its going to be tight but based on who we have left, we need to win at least 9 games between now and the end of the season out of the 20 games

Don't know why but I'm convinced we'll beat Derby away and our record at home against both Brighton and Middlesborough are good so i don't see us losing either of those games but I personally think we'll get between 60-65 points which should see us finish in the top half of the table which is a good season for me.

Lose to Blackpool at their ground, I can see that all day. Its the Wednesday way.

We have to beat those around us including Wolves and Watford. Last game of the season we need to win, I can see us doing it against Watford to secure the place

On average you need more than 73 pts to bag 6th.

4 points separating the top 6 indicates to me that the 6th place team may well have close to 80 points this season if they all keep up the form they're in. You can't say who will get the two automatic spots because they are all so similar.

I think it's unfortunate that there aren't just 3-4 run away teams opening up the last 2 play off spots.

I think people are already forgetting we'll likely be off the pace for the playoffs, and safe from relegation, so we'll drop quite a few points we shouldnt

No doubt they will be screaming and shouting about how SG isnt up to the job and how MM is a tight fisted old lilywrinkle l, whilst forgetting we coasted past our targets 2-months prior

I've said before I'm not that incredibly fussed about getting into Prem, we are competitive in this league and have had a good 13-14 months under Gray. If we are mid table Championship for the next couple of seasons I dont have a massive problem with this.

However we should always be looking up and seeing how far we as a club can get up the ladder with our resources.

The question is will we kick on and have a better second half to the season, or will we continue as we are (because I think the squad will perform at least to its current rate for the rest of the year).

Either way I'm happy, but of course I'd love some playoff games.
