Lincs Owl
it's an offence to park on land levelled and maintained by the council. Why should football fans be treated any different? As to why it took 3 of them, couldn't you walk across and ask?

Freshfish
...maybe they're checking to see if the driver is actually blind...well...given the size of the traffic cone and the double yellows you never know...and he's parking right across the footpath...has to be blind...erm...or stupid... Geedee
sheffield-wednesday-parking.jpg Seriously ? Surely there should be some tolerance on matchday,it seems a safe enough place to park. Car drivers already pay far too much tax imo and these 3 incredibly talented obviously hard working people are simply low paid tax collectors
Claudio Tankisco
Don't like traffic wardens one bit but they stop people parking in the tittiest manner with no regard for anyone or anything. I work in Halifax which has had to suspend all of its parking laws for the last six weeks and it's been free parking with no rules. People have parked anywhere possible for as long as possible with absolutely no consideration for pedestrians (particularly disabled people and children) and traffic flow. It's been chaos. Sadly the wardens serve a purpose and they wouldn't be required if people actually engaged their brains before dumping their cars where they feel like it. Guest Deleted member
Parking is getting harder and harder to find around the stadium. When the Wednesdayite car park closes that will be near enough another 600 cars looking for spaces too
theowlsman
At some point, when we have the right owners in place, we'll need to think about moving from Hillsborough to a new modern stadium, with all the facilities to accommodate financial growth. An emotional issue, but a step that must be taken.
