Jeffjohnsonmyhero
With no sign of a TAKEOVER now is the time to be patient ,we are going to have a few negative results till players start coming back .So calm down next 6-7 weeks will be rocky until players come back,I still think around 10th place for us will be a great achievement considering we have a budget to finish below that. Lord Snooty
THE CLUB HAS NO MONEY I'm sure this fact won't affect our ability to start threads about signing a multi-million pound centre forward.

Eightace
I've never been a clapper and being around in the good days I'm not easily impressed but I have to say I can't see a reason to moan at the moment. We have some good players and are doing ok considering. With stu in charge and players to come back and hopefully a couple of good loans we can finish higher than we have for a while. Yes its not time for the playoffs yet but look at the other teams in this league.Nobody can just waltz in there, especially with a small budget. Now if we lost to Ipswich It might be a good time to get this loan striker/midfielder in. But I'm not too down about yesterday myself.
alan48
I know we're skint but I reckon for the measly price of £3mill we could join the ' yo-yo ' club . The likes of WBA , Burnley,QPR ,Norwich ,Wolves ,Sunderland,Hull , Leicester ,Palace .Once in the club the parachute payments allow you to be that little bit better off than others in the Championship .£1 mill each for another top class defender [Cardiff showed we cant cope without Lees ] ,a creative midfielder to back up Lee ,and a Kevin Phillips like striker who's quick , agile and alert to loose balls in the box .For £3mill we could give it a real good go and by today's standards thats not big bucks and if we got to the Premiership , even for one season , we'd get the money back . Come on Milan , give it one last push !
Eightace
Yeah we could be real contenders with relatively litte money but I dont think Milan will go for it. Disappointing but considering where we have been im not going to grumble yet
Raygun
Yeah I agree [edit: with the OP]. Anybody that thinks we're going to assemble a promotion team with loanees in September, with the budget we have....absolutely crackers. If we're top half by 1 Jan 2015 then that'll be a hell of an achievement. We've excellent so far and it is very satisfying. All these people accusing Milan of not being the sort of chairman who utilises the loan market to its best effect must be from another planet. Would rather continue the way we are to be honest.

Come on Milan , give it one last push ! Spending doesn't guarantee anything as Forest/Blackburn found out last season. I also remember Leicester spending millions and missing out on promotion.. You're also under valuing the market if you reckon you can get a solid defender, creative midfielder and goal scorer for under £3million. The current squad is in a good place although short on depth. Getting Lee and Hutchinson back is of paramount importance.
Cersei
I think the problem is that most of us are bored to flipping tears of the same old situation. I have every bit of patience for anyone having a moan as it's been a very frustrating few years. It also feels it would be a good time to splash a little bit on keeping us in the top 6. There is enough money to buy a decent striker. Milan is refusing to splash out a little bit and it's very annoying indeed. We know he is trting to flog us as well which adds to the frustration.
