Points In The Bag Or Games In Hand?

Recommended Posts

I would much rather be 4 points ahead with 2 extra games played, than 4 points behind and games in hand to come on tuesday nights and at least one of which is away from home.

You'd have to be mental or unbelievably confident in your team's ability to win all of their games to wish for anything else IMO.

Points every time - even more so that it's 4 points behind with 2 games in hand from their perspective.

The pressure is on them to catch up - and as the games start running out, that pressure just intensifies on the team playing catch up.

if that's the case then the grunters are going to phook it up good style when they play colchester on a cold wet tues night.

Anyone would say points.

If it was 3 pts from 6 then we might look at it differently.

But for any team 4 pts from 6 is a decent return.

Taking into account that we also played MK away.

Like someone said earlier Colchester away is a tough one.

especially way back in 2005/06 when we got trashed 4-0 at the old "Layer Road" Ground on a horrible wet tuesday night which turned out to be king sturrocks last game in charge.
