Wigan are making relatively short work of that points deduction also

At one point last night they were out of the bottom 4 relegation spots but the equaliser means they are still on -1.

Wonder if they can make the playoffs even with the -8 start.

Wouldn’t put it past them as they were on a par with the leaders at one point. Probably depends on squad depth which looks and issue for them and derby in certain areas

I thought Barnsley had already won the league after the 7-0?

Wigan will be eyeing the playoffs and will have probably been their aim coming into it.

Reading exactly where I expect them to finish this season.

Surprised at Charltons slow start.

Great start for Stevenage.

Bolton for title.

Agree with all of that.

I thought Charlton bought well in the summer will be interesting to see how they do.

Reading / Wigan will also be interesting. I wonder if Reading will get through the season without a points deduction.

Barry Fry still leads the scouting and recruitment at posh.  He is unbelievably good at finding these players and has the best network of contacts in the game probably in footballing history.  Still works full time despite having had about 5  heart attacks !

Love Barry Fry. Such a character in an increasingly boring football landscape. And as you say, has a fantastic eye for young talent.

This interview he does with Big Ron is excellent, especially about his time working for Stan Flashman at Barnet lol
