BREAKING - Wednesday turn down £1MILLION for Windass

Recommended Posts

Windass should have a price. Just like any other player.   An offer in excess of £2million would have to be seriously considered IMO.

If someone offered £1.5 million for Bannan I would sell.

Dom Howson is far better connected at S6 than Nixon,  while I’ve got no issue with Nixon whatsoever I think DH will

be more accurate on this one

If they don’t want to sell there will be no price tag or even discussion from Chansiri

Players are leaking to Nixon.

And their Dads.

Dom writes mainly club line.

Romaine Sawyers. Attacking midfielder. Moved to West Brom for £3m at age 28. Previous season at Brentford he didn’t even score in 42 games. Before that had 4 in 42

Sam Gallagher. Midfielder/Striker. Aged 25. Signed for Blackburn for just under £6m. Scored 6 in 42 the previous season in the championship

Kiefer Moore. Striker. Signed for Cardiff for £2.5m. Aged 28. Scored 10 in 36 for Wigan in the championship previous season

I admitted further down in my post that £5m was perhaps wishful thinking, but we have to be aiming for more than £1m, let alone bloody £400k like some have suggested

sold pre (early - Moore) pandemic - Football finance has changed dramatically in last 18 months

This bluff ain't worked.

Millwall and Brum backed out.

A £9 credit report on club shows its weak  hand.

Fessi 2.

Reports that #SWFC have set a £5m asking price for Josh Windass are wide of the mark. Wednesday are not looking to sell Windass and no figures have been discussed.(DOM)

Sounds perfectly plausible.  But its boring, so the 5m story will get the attention, far sexier for fans looking to hit the club again.

There wouldn't be a mark if club didn't want to sell, wide or accurate.

And is a forced sale as facing Administration.
