As I mentioned earlier in the thread, Pelupessy has a massive brainfart too. As usual. Two abject players, one all heart and zero talent another with some talent and zero heart Both simply need vanquishing from SWFC ASAP 1 1

BIG D
Paterson is level with Palmer in the first shot, if Liam had put the same effort in he may have got back in time to make a difference. Very good and when he gets the ball, “Kick it” 7 defenders failed to prevent 3 attackers from scoring. 3 didn’t block a cross when perfectly positioned. One didn’t mark the goal scorer. One didn’t cover the marking centre back. One is caught completely in no man’s land yet you still want to highlight the player who was furthest forward for not getting back and making it 8 against 3?

Tommy Crawshaw
16 minutes ago, Lawrie’s Left Peg said: Can you explain the role of the right sided player in a 3-4-3 formation ? Can you explain the role of a defensive midfield player if the right sided player is caught forward supporting an attacking phase of play or would you rather just blame Liam for not being in the picture when there are 7 other Wednesday players defending 3 attackers? His role is to get up and down the line. Get forward when we are attacking and drop into the right back position when we are defending. Trouble is Palmer either isn't physically up to being able to get back or can't be arsed. This is nothing new, he has been guilty of it for years. Maybe that isn't the position for him. Look at these stills. When Shinnie picks up the ball, Paterson (one of those you are blaming) is actually further forward than Palmer but still puts the effort in to track back with him all the way to our penalty area and puts a challenge in on him before he passes out to Lawrence. Meanwhile Palmer starts ambling back then gives up and is still on the halfway line out of picture. Palmer should have bust a gut to get back in the right back position and track Lawrence. .
