Season suspension possibility growing ?

Yes...but if they did, I'm very confident it would be overturned in court.

On what legal or regulatory grounds would we take them on, and specifically win?

What law would the EFL have broken?  Which rule within the EFL rules would they have broken?

Can you name the last club to take the EFL to court, and win?  What about the "other" club that we'd have sent down with our legal victory, are they just there to accept the court's decision without any input or challenge?

Considering we've accepted the 6 points deduction and in good faith and Covid is no way the result of EFL actions, what reasonable grounds would you have to say the 6 points (already deducted) was done so in bad faith?

Please explain your confidence.

You would hope that the club asked about exactly this scenario when we accepted the -6 points. Would hardly have taken a genius to realise that this situation was possible in the midst of a pandemic

I can't believe that we don't know how the calculation will operate

You have to work out points gained, apply that over a 46 game period then deduct the 6 points surely...

Any other way of doing it would mean it would work out at a much harsher penalty, apply it first and half way through the season its weighting would be like having a 12 point penalty.

Hopefully we got points at Cov and against Wycombe and keep ourselves out of the bottom 3 regardless.

Because the Efl, said

Sheffield Wednesday will be deducted 6pts for season 2020 /21.

By saying season, it's not unreasonable to believe that means 46 games...ie. a "season"

Hope thst clears it up...

So why did we start at - 6 pts...if it was over the season they would deduct it after the season had ended. We have had and accepted our penalty so there's no need to be concerned other than the season ending prematurely in which case we would get more points added to our ppg
