Let’s see what the new lads can do, rather than potentially throwing them in against United. Fox looks terrified when he has to attack, turns and finds Bannan on a pass back every time. Hopefully the defensive display today will allow Bruce to make changes without it been unfair. Jos was playing tactics too advanced for the older players to learn. He got it right several times, something which alot might disagree with be we did very well against all the top teams under Jos. My only complaint for Liam in CM was that he has zero attacking ability and no eye for a pass. He has a great engine and covers alot of ground, so for the first time ever. I’d like to see Hutch in defensive midfield and Bannan and Onomah above him. Probably Reach and Aarons supporting Fletcher from wide areas. We need to compete with the pigs in central midfield.
