No it doesn't,christ alive.

After having given a date by the football club for sales, they would have a target to reach on that specified date, so what do you think the reason for an extension,

problem with fans not being able to get through on phone? fans not being able to purchase online due to website not able to cope?

Both of these point towards sales not achieving what was the target,

any other ideas? Or are you just being obtuse.

all points to being down on sale predictions, cant fault the fans for their reaction to a Season of underwhelming.

Probably some truth but another way to look at is that the phones and ticket office have probably been so busy today (judging by the peeps not being able to get thru) maybe they felt they were going to lose out on a lot of business if they couldn’t get them all done by 5. Kinda just eases the pressure on them I guess.

Think this is more to do with it,or is that to obtuse for ya ?

Following supporter feedback received regarding the 2018/19 Early Bird Season Ticket deadline, we are pleased to announce a new date of Wednesday 4 April for fans to make their purchase.

The original deadline was today, Monday 19 March, but following the fans’ feedback - coupled with extended queuing times in the Ticket Office and on the phone lines - as well as the recent closures due to the inclement weather, we can confirm the revised date for applications.

Again probably true - but a few people (myself included) usually do things at the last minute. So if there’s a cue of say 100 people at 4pm they either stay late or extend the deadline I guess.

Well done swfc, don't understand why it can't be the same price right up to the last game of the season

Agree with this completely, would ease the purchase burden for a lot of fans.
