Stokey
Hooper was awesome today. Looked sharp and his first touch at times was sublime today.

Am I the only one shouting 'turn & face' when their keeper has the ball? Yes, it appears so.
TrickyTrev
When you look at goals scored to minutes on the pitch he's by far our best striker.

My title was obviously provocative & expected to draw the expected. But a lot on here have repeatedly stated that Hooper is a goalscorer & should be judged on this alone. Now he's not scoring??? IMO, he's a striker from a bygone era, where scoring is their only job. In the modern game, he's no where near doing enough. In truth he didn't work his way through the academy system & wouldn't now You can't disengage like he does.
Mick De Lyons
You have to judge Hooper on the task he was set to do. We were playing a side away from home, who were top of the table and hadn't lost at home this season. You can't always judge a striker on goals alone in certain matches, but what he offers for the team. He was always a threat. Held the ball up well, linked play and was energetic. He moved their centre halves all over the place to create space and nearly grabbed himself a goal aswell. All round good performance from Hooper. How on earth you can be critical i dom't know. I suggest you start to watch the game in a less one dimensional way and appreciate that in games like this, strikees have key roles to play in linking the play to midfield, pinning their centre halves back and creating space. Mr Farrell
Had his best game of the season today. Would like to see a little less whinging from him though when a ball doesn't quite go exactly to his feet.

However, today it was the sitting in game and we did it so well. They played more crab football than the Blades did in the BDM !
