WatfordOwl
I don't think there are grey areas when you hear people using racist language. If you're in doubt or unsure what may be construed as racism then it's a pretty simple solution, just don't open your mouth.
WatfordOwl
Not doubting that he is, don't know the guy. Just a bit awkward contradicting himself that's all. I think his post was more in tongue in cheek pal. Didn't mean to infer you were a gobshite either. UTO
We'llNeverBeMastered
Nah, can see his point about certain people. Racism should not be in football.

People of all races have completely different views on what can be considered offensive.
JackSwfc12
Obviously racism should not be tolerated and anyone doing so should be banned. However, people getting drunk and having a laugh is what away days are all about. I wouldn't attend if I couldn't have a good day out and laugh with my mates. We'llNeverBeMastered
Agree about the racism, such a shame and should not be associated with such a great set of fans. On the other hand, the lads who have been on the drink all day at away games, are the ones who create the atmosphere in my honest opinion.

So the fact it's illegal to be drunk in a ground doesn't matter?
We'llNeverBeMastered
So the fact it's illegal to be drunk in a ground doesn't matter? No it shouldn't, as shown by the thousands of fans that are drunk in grounds, as let's be honest, over the years, would you have wanted to watch Wednesday sober? TheEnchanter
So the fact it's illegal to be drunk in a ground doesn't matter? Is it actually illegal though? If so why haven't thousands and millions of people not been arrested?

Our Liverpool fans showed what drunk fans can do. It would be interesting to see how many people who get ejected or arrested aren't drunk. A drink yeah, drunk, no. If you don't wanna drink, fine, if others want to get paralytic, that's also fine, until they directly affect you, it really is none of your business. NYCOWL
I like 2/3 pints before the game. Don't really understand turning up absolutely shitted. Do you remember anything afterwards?

Have you, yourself, been directly affected by drunken supporters? Like I said, if so, fair enough, if not, it's none of your business what others do. Old girl next to me was terrified. Your logic is screwed because by inference unless you or one of your family are affected by murder, its OK for people to ignore the law on it. What about if you see it affecting other people?
