torres, could he do the job for us?

Recommended Posts

heard on the radio the other day that milan (ac that is) had sent torres back...

but chelski wanted him out of the club to lower their wage budget in relation to the financial fair play rules...

could we get roman to let us rehabilitate him as we did with wickham, barkley and the likes???

abramovic could pay his wages secretly in a brown envelope, and we'd hand 'em over as though we'd chipped in our share...

it's a win/win for chelski...

There could be something in this, with the way we have expertly resurrected the careers of Wickam, Barkley, and, more pertinent to Chelsea, Sam Hutchinson, they may be willing to allow us to give him the confidence he needs to start firing on all cylinders again.

They will know we have the midfield quality in Drenthe, McGugan and Lee to supply him in a similar way to their midfielders so may see us as the ideal team to send him to.

If one of Roman's companies sponsored the megastore carpark or something for big bucks in order for us to pay his wages it would also get around the FFP rules. However, I'm sure MM would stump up for a player of this quality if the opportunity arose.

Probably better emailing the club about this sort of thing. We on Owlstalk don't have much of a say in these matters.

"........... (Dead tone on phone)"

"(Shrugs) why he's not interested in that I don't know?"
