NeonLeon
Depressingly good. Watched the Brentford highlights and it looked like he kept us in that. Played poor against Watford and we lost, no shock. Always wonder what the other ten actually contributed when your keeper plays like Westwood today. Orlando_Trustful
£2-3mil and Westwood will be gone in January The question is, how much will be reinvested? 350k?
adamb1253
I'll be very surprised if Kieron Westwood is still at S6 come 1st Feb 2015 Because his performances are now starting to attract the attention of the top end Championship and Premier League clubs. Even more significant is the fact that he's got into the Sunday Mirror's team of the day a fair few times now. That's a real accolade
vulva
One of the best goalkeeping performances I've seen at Hillsborough. Just wonder if he has a release clause in his contract for if a Premier League side comes in.

None What so ever,All the money from Westwood's sale will simply go towards Servicing SWFC's debt and that is the brutal truth.
Jowl
if Westwood went for £2-£3m (and that would be a steal) then IF it's re-invested in a couple of good midfielders and a decent striker then it would be good business. Meanwhile in Planet earth......

Guest
Westwood will be sold in January if someone comes along with 2/3million Anyone thinking otherwise will be sorely dissapointed
prowl
He's got to be worth more than 2-3 mil.
Guest Sheff Owl
The club was thinking ahead really which you can't fault. They knew the ability of Westwood and knew that come January there would be interest/bids. So sell Westwood in January for a profit and put in another experienced goalkeeper in Kirkland. CS5swfc
Who would come in for him? Man City still want him to fit their homegrown players quota for champs league apparently (lad from uni)!
Groundhopping Owl
Who would come in for him? Lower to mid-table prem teams, maybe Hull, Burnley, Leicester, Sunderland etc. He's clearly an upgrade on all the keepers at the teams I've just named

HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
I wouldn't take a penny less than 7 million But knowing Wednesday, we will let him go for 1.5 million in January Then sink to relegation without him. Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.
