Guest Sheff Owl
Little piggies are oinking... Alan Biggs â€@AlanBiggs1 1m Some disgruntled Blades but seem to recall #sufc making 10, 11? signings in summer. A manager to trust. Loan window to come.Hardly inaction. S36 OWL
Shoes off??????????? Rob Staton â€@robstaton 27s All quiet at Sheffield United. Worth noting the loan window re-opens before #SUFC's next game. And a four-game unbeaten run. Game changer
Guest Sheff Owl
First with all the news... Andy Giddings â€@Gids1980 38s Nothing's going to happen at #sufc today. Was told earlier that bids were made for 3 players. #twitterblades

JC3
How many strikers do Rotherham have, Becchio, Bowery, Clarke-Harris, Taylor, Derbyshire, Revell, Hall and Brandy Hall and Brandy are more wingers. Still 6 strikers is a lot.
Guest wilyfox
Yes, 6 strikers is a lot. But why did they sign two more today? ..Because Evans found out Bowery & Derbyshire are duds.
Orlando_Trustful
We should have got Becchio. Edited September 2, 2014 by Orlando_Trustful

lincolnowl
I know nowt about the kid from Oldham but can't help but feel a little envious about Becchio. Their budget must be bigger than ours with the sheer number of players they gave stockpiled?

Their budget must be bigger than ours with the sheer number of players they gave stockpiled? Yes I would imagine it is, they've paid a few fees as well. The main problem with Becchio, it was said, was his high wages. So unless Norwich have decided to subsidise his wages further, Rotherham must be prepared to pay them Fair play to them, he's a decent signing. Certainly would have given our front line options a boost
vulva
I'm no expert in football finance, but I've absolutely no idea where Rotherham are getting their money from. The Rotherham story will end in tears. Or a bucket on Leppings Lane again.
Saxondale
They got a million for Agard so it looks like that's gone on the kid from Oldham and Becchio's wages for a year. The Chairman seems to think they are going to be promoted again pretty soon, I admire the ambition but there will come a time when he gets bored with putting his money in and pulls the plug. They can't be swimming in cash as they like to make out, the training ground project at Brinswotth/Tinsley got shelved due to finances and looking at the state it's in it's going to cost a fortune to sort out. I bet they got no where near a million for Agard. Evans talks out of his fat arsehole. Rotherham are heading towards financial meltdown, and such spending can't be sustained on crowds on 6000. Bluesteel
They need to strike whilst the irons hot ie this season and perhaps next. The sort of finance they have doesn't go far in this league as we found out and when they start becoming also rans that's when the bank balance looks bad
