How can people still be behind Jones?

Recommended Posts

No fight, no desire.

I've seen Wednesday playing by far the better football for a lot of the games so far this season, as soon as things start not going to plan heads drop and the players are like mardy school children not getting their own way, petulant and pathetic.

Individually we are good enough, the problem is not the players at disposal, but attitude. That comes from authority, i.e managers.

Showed loads of desire today and come from behind in our last 2.

Howard Wilkinson said look at league table after 12 games and thats a good estimate to where u will finish.so on that yes we are

We were second bottom this time last year after 12 games

Ipswich were bottom

Middlesborough were 3rd

Huddersfield were 7th

Wolves were 6th

I don't really care what Howard Wilkinson said

Watford were 15th

Blackburn were 5th

Hull were 9th

How can you blame Jones for today?

IMO he set us up right and apart from one crazy decision we would have won.

Bad mistake for their goal...I don't think DJ coaches them to do that but by far the better team.

Putting JJ on , when Fryatt was clearly k-nacked almost won us the game.

I think you will find people can blame Jones for anything.

We have taken 7 points out of a possible 33 and yet people still think Jones is the right man for the job because we have played well today. The fact is we have scraped a draw today from a own goal . Jones has got to go his time is up! We can't carry on getting the odd point here and there this will send us down. And none of us want to see OUR club back in league 1 do we?

I can understand why people think jones might keep us up,He managed it last year and he has this reputation of being a good manager(not sure myself). But to be honest just scraping up isn't good enough.

I also understand peoples reluctance to change manager yet again.

I feel he's done half a job.We don't look whipping boys but I have a feeling he can't take us any further.

So we gamble or stick with jones.

I'd rather go down trying to win games and try and trying to find a manager with some fresh ideas.

Btw I negged a couple of people because I saw some of the same old boring comments about people wanting to ignore facts and wanting jones to fail and blame him for everything.

No one wants him to fail just to be proved right.

We were a lot worse last season

Most said we would go down

Agree with this. We were by far a lot worse last season. Our football is coming a lot better, but we REALLY need this win to get the team relaxing. As soon as we get it then I do feel it'll make a huge difference

If we can't afford to sign someone like *** on a free.

Then we probably can't afford to sack a manager.

We're stuck in a room with one door.

Unfortunately that door opens from the outside and only someone willing to takeover is waiting on the other side.

There's no world beating loanee door and there's no new manager door.

lol

Not for us

Can you really see us gaining at least 42 more points this season?

Arguably we've in our easiest run of 9 games this season Millwall - Barnsley and we've got 6 points so far. Even a win at the dingles is a poor return.

Admire your optimism, if its genuine and not dependant on a takeover.
