Glaser Posted September 16, 2012 Share Posted September 16, 2012 Always worried when we signed 5 strikers... Dave Jones said you can never have too many strikers. I completely disagree. Always thought 3 quality strikers and a fourth who is back up is more than enough. That way, you rotate your main 3 until you find the pair that is right. With 3 good strikers, each gets more of a chance to impress. With 5, there is always going to be 2 who don't play... when needed, they haven't had the game time / the confidence to make a sudden impact. All our strikers have played bit parts, whilst the two loanees now seem to be guaranteed because of the situation / deals agreed when we signed them ....
