PopePiusX
Richie Benaud. He once said of Michael Vaughan 'like so many straight-thinking gentlemen, a Sheffield Wednesday supporter', and that's a fact. He undermined the point slightly by saying that he'd never heard of a bacon sandwich, but had heard of a potato sandwich, but he said it.

nevthelodgemoorowl
HRH E II hardly ever misses though she does have to be incognito for obvious reasons The rumour that the occupant of the costume is often seen in The New Barrack Tavern before games is just a cover story. EasyPeez
Blunkett Michael Palin Tommo who used to appear on Coronation Street - and another actor on there from a few years back can't think of his name. The Queen - there's a photo in the board room which proves it. Palin is a blade really.
EasyPeez
I remember once reading an article which included the bold claim that 'De Niro is an owl'. Would have been during the mid-90s. Can't think for the life of me what publication it was in, but I remember it included an interview with him and him talking about enjoying 'soccer' during a stay in the UK. Can't imagine he gets to many games like.
