If i were Gary Megson

Recommended Posts

Joe Lewis from Peterborough and have Weaver as no.2 - young quality keeper who will probably be playing in Prem in 3-4 years (hopefully with us  )

Ian Harte from Reading - we need someone who is a dead ball specialist as we currently have Teale and Spurr taking them

Rob Jones - In permanently he had a good debut except for losing his man for their 1st make him captain

George Boyd again from Peterborough - A quality left winger who chips in with goals too him and Harte would terrorise defences

Leroy Lita - pacy little striker who knows this league and should score plenty playing off Madine

Dele Adebola - great target man with quick feet for a big man

Cant think of any more at minute we need that many new players

I'd love Harte, when was the last time we had someone who would score 10 goals a season from a dead ball situation? Harte is class.

Would also like Lita and Adebola but also add Hoskins to it too.

Other than Rob Jones, what an absolutely ludicrous list of transfer targets.

Some ideas:

Keepers - Jamie Jones (Leyton Orient), Alex Smithies (Huddersfield). Either or both could get promotion however.

Defenders - A natural right-back and a natural left-back both urgently needed. Struggling off the top of my head to think of names. Dean Lewington (MK Dons) maybe for left-back, would provide commercial benefits in his other role as Ronald McDonald too.

Centre backs - Peter Clarke (Huddersfield) (experienced but far from past it, leader, the best in the division possibly), Michalik at Carlisle.

Midfielders - Kazenga Lua-Lua was a good suggestion, real creativity and ability about him, we desperately need that. Dean Cox (Leyton Orient) huge amount of assists as well as goals. I'd seriously try getting McGovern back, not for sentimental reasons but because he would be a great addition. Marc Pugh (Bournemouth), Danny Green (Dag & Red), Bolasie (Plymouth), M'Poku on loan at Leyton Orient from Spurs, 18, I think we need some players like him. Moussi (Forest) if he's out of favour there. Johnnie Jackson & Scott Wagstaff (Charlton).

Strikers - Hoskins (Bristol Rovers), I think a lot of us have been impressed by him. Jackson (Norwich), not first choice there but has scored plenty before in this division.

Even if they are 'has beens and rejects' all are light years ahead of anybody in the current squad who would you want us to sign this summer?

Don't judge rob jones on one game, he'll probably make a mistake next game and everyone will be on his back.

He made 2 mistakes yesterday lost header for 1st goal then lost header with Lambert for 2nd and just fcuking left him alone for return ball he is cack the 1st mistake Megsons made would prefer Hinds at Centre Half.

Were you watching a different game- it was Madine's man, not Jones. Jones attacked the ball, Madine's man won the header.

FFS it wasn't his man. As stated previously Madine left his man, who got a run on him and the player he left was first to the ball. Jones went and attacked the ball, but he cannot be blamed for poor marking from behind him.

Seriously if people are going to make accusations on here, and point the finger, at least get the facts right.

I'd pay anything for Kevin Phillips.

Love to see him in a Wednesday shirt.

Gary Madine, Kevin Phillips, Will Hoskins, Paul Heffernan & Craig Davies our five strikers next season please.

Kevin Phillips wouldn't score in our team - there's no one to create anything for him.
