i used to be sc_owl
So if I've read it this right, the league has increased it's income from this deal from £6M a year to a massive......... ....... £7M a year........ ....WOW.....
Bluesteel
much prefer Coca Cola, but I dont suppose it matters that much, As for giving fans better bills...it'd be a bloody start...their bills are extortionate no wonder they can afford to sponsor the football league! Guest owls_4_life
It sounds weird but so did Coca Cola when we first got that. When this investment comes we'll be in the BARCLAYS Premier League anyway so it won't bother us
Guest Johnbloodaxe
Maybe something long the lines of a Gambling Casino, who offered lots more money to the FA at a low rate of interest of course, but the FA decided not to cash in the chips. Personally i dont see owt wrong with npower. They are French aren't they now ??? That's enough for me....

Guest JonR
My favourite Cocoa-cola league moment when the offer to buy a player for your club when you buy a bottle of coke, lead do Bradley-Wright philips going to southampton. He then repaid the favour by stealing.

I won't be in the minority, when I say I purchased a heap load more of coke than usual during said competition
Glaser
I thought the buy a player was Colin Kazim Richards for Brighton - then United and now Fenerbache. they ran it for two years.... Brighton won first, then Southampton in the second year. It then morphed into "win a player" where fans won amounts for their teams "prize fund"

Hardly going to be drastically different... wont take a photoshop guru to put the npower logo over the coca cola logo
