tickets for charlton

Recommended Posts

20,000 sold so far with 2,300 tickets given away for free to corporate clients and local schools, there is a possibility of a sell out. how good would that be, whooo

I'm upping my guess from just below 32,000 to just over 33,000.

And my tenner bet that we get over 30,000 is looking quite safe now...

Anyone know for sure whether this includes ST holders and if so how many ST's did we sell.

Would have thought around 4-5000 at least will be sold on the day.

If the figure includes season ticket holders then sales are wee wee poor for a game this cheap.

I actually agree.

If it does then its poor.

If it doesn't then we are doing very well.

Looking at the online ticketing (yeah its not accurate), it looks as though it is including them as the kop has plenty of green blocks.

Disappointing if it does include ST holders.

Hopefully allowing people to pay on the day for cheap is distorting it slightly.

We have sold around 20,500 which includes season ticket sales.

Wednesday have given away just over 3,000 freebies.

This does not include Charltons coach that they are bringing up.

So in total we are looking at around 24,000 for the match so far.

Pay on the day so we should get around 26,000

Not bad to say we are playing the bottom of the league

26,000 is LOW

30,000 is the minimum we should have got.

The phrasing that '20,000 tickets have been sold for the game' makes it sound like it doesn't include season ticket holders though.

How does it sound like it doesnt include ST holders

A season ticket is a sale for every game, therefore counted a ticket sold for this and every game.

Not sure whether it includes ST's or not but the OS is telling people to hurry up as tickets are going fast and even mentions the possibility of a sell-out. If this is true, great, if it isn't true, still great as it means the club are learning about marketing!

1300 tickets given to current AND FORMER corporate clients, another good move.

2000 tickets for local kids, at last.

We, the fans, now have to keep the ball rolling by encouraging others to come. The target has got to be the divisions biggest crowd and anything over 32,000 will mean that, just like last season we will have had the biggest crowd in Sheffield. The Blunts can't even say that it's only because it was cheap because that's the only reason they are getting good crowds!

The tide is turning folks, come on down!

33,010 is the highest championship attendance.

We will reach it, but not V Charlton.

v Cardiff on the last day could be a different story, if it was £10 and £5 then.

Thats not even thinking about the chances to sell out with the new ticketing policy coming into force soon.
