Lot of potential but not first team level yet

Mainly back up in his first year with the academy. He started playing more after older boys got promoted to play U-21 football and made 10 starts in the end.

Progress He's been showing this season is astonishing. Leojo Davidson had similarly successful 2'nd year, but failed to perform after He got promoted to U-23 squad while Fernandes is playing his best football against older boys.

Scores all sorts of goals as well.

Progress He is making looks to be ahead of the curve and has been impressive, but He doesn't look close to fist team level to Me as well.

Sam Reed on the other hand....

Love to see urgency He shows on the ball and desperation to get in front of "his man" when We lose possession. Unlike most young players at this level who are looking to impress, His priority seems to be to win the game. You can see that He played man's football and hates to lose. Thought He improved on Pedersen's performance after He came on for him against Wigan.

Nice to see captain Fusire back after long lay off after nasty injury.

It is great to see that players look to be improving and prospering playing U-21 football, as it wasn't often the case at Sheffield Wednesday.
