Popular Post Wednesdayitewastaken
We have a few players on international duty this week even including u16 Will Grainger for Wales (can't find info on though) Bailey Cadamarteri had to choose between Jamaica national team or England u19s and of course he chose the young lions. A future Harry Kane? Currently playing: Morocco vs England - 22:00 (accessible through a dodgy firestick) Cadamarteri on Bench USA vs England - Sunday 24th March - 10:00 Dishon Bernard was called up for the Reggae boys and is playing today against USA at 23:00 (he has been picked in their starting lineup of course ) Ike Ugbo (ole ole ole) has been called up for Canada and is playing at 21:00 on Saturday 23rd Pierce Charles was called up to the u21 team for Northern Ireland team, had a game today and played against Czechia for the second half. Let in one goal, but apparently he had a great half with hardly any mistakes (Joe Crann) Northern Ireland also plays Serbia U21 Phuthi has also been called up to the Zimbabwe squad and plays against Zambia on Saturday 23rd against Zambia; that's a rivalry right? Finally, James Beadle in goal called up to the England U20 team (now called the Elite league or something). He plays against Poland tomorrow at 16:45 and Czech on Tuesday, 26th March at 14:00 An exciting bunch of games. Not sure how much everyone will be following international games this time (I know it gets ignored a lot of the time), but these are the players called up to duty 7 1

Wednesdayitewastaken
Cadz got around 15 minutes for his first outing as a young lion. Despite that he still put himself out there, but the chances werent created for him. Here’s starboy in the England kit: Bernard got to play the full 120 minutes against USA, and probably thought Jamaica was going to win after a quick goal in the first minute. Heartbreak occurred though and they conceded an own goal in the 96th minute. Last minute goals, eh? You either love em or hate them. This led to a spiral in extra time where USA smashed two more goals pass the Reggae Boys defence, finishing the game, 3-1. Bernard picked up a rating of 3.7/5 for this game. 5 1

The Dukeries Owl
Internationals maybe, but they are either loanees or youngsters, the one current regular international player that we own is out with a long term injury.

I didn't know this about Delgado. Would Poveda have been considered for the Colombia squad do you think? 7 hours ago, Wednesdayitewastaken said: Cadz got around 15 minutes for his first outing as a young lion. I think Bailey Cadamarteri should consider playing for Jamaica , he's not going to be an England regular at senior level so it would be a good way to play International football. I reckon Bailey playing for Jamaica will probably be what ends up happening, but playing for England at any level would be an opportunity to pass up. Also, seeing as he is just 19 years old, there is a chance for him to improve and start playing top level soon, maybe edging into the England squad. The future's bright for him

Wednesdayitewastaken
James Beadle started for the England U20s today and took part in their 5-1 smashing over Poland Didn't watch the game so not too sure how he performed, but well done to him!!
Daz
Bailey scored from a penalty for England U19's in a 3-2 loss to USA. Looked like the last to be subbed on 76 minutes. Well done to him.

It's absolutely brilliant that we have so many young internationals in our club. Let's hope they keep up the "good work" and become fully fledged internationals. Well done lads!! Southie_Owl
Well done to Cadamarteri, completely disagree with people who say he’s looked out of his depth playing in our first team. There’d be experienced strikers who look the same given the lack of service they actually get when in our side.

The future's bright for him I'm sure that I read somewhere that he wanted to play for England U19s as a way to benchmark where his development is atm. Quite an intelligent move I reckon.
