Röhl discusses the need for better facilities at SWFC

I've played at Hillsborough on a couple of occasions.

Used both changing rooms.

The away one is very basic. It's not terrible, but there isn't much to it.

As for the home one, it's ok...but it doesn't look like a great deal of investment has gone into it.

Danny can wish for better facilities (and players) as much as he wants.

It won't happen, as Chief Chumpsiri promised us he won't spend any more  on us, remember?

That's why Danny n team will be offski this Summer, in fact pretty much the only reason they'll move on.

I’m no fan of Chansiri.  However hasn’t he spent money on sacking Munoz and hiring Danny and his team.  Not to mention the signings in January.  This best course of action is to never believe a word he says.

I think Danny has played a blinder really. We go down, hardly his fault with the complete scattergun approach we had last Summer, then the shambles of a manager. He really has done his best to make do and mend. Amazing that we are only a point behind. Hardly backed in January was he?

He’s rightly mentioned the state of the facilities and the need for urgent upgrades to both that and the squad with yet another rebuild looming due to once again short term thinking.

Now considering the job he and his staff have done it’s backed DC into a corner with a decision to make.
He doesn’t want to spend, yet needs to in order to keep the best management team we’ve had in years. Fail to do so and they are all off, leaving Chumpsiri SURELY universally hated amongst what would be ALL Wednesday fans.

Major crossroads ahead in the coming weeks.

There must be a good feature to be written here (in tandem with the "The North Stand" thread)

Could any of our Star journalists @YesWeCrann write a feature on this, asking some direct questions?

Which Director at SWFC could be asked for an interview?  I honestly don't know any staff there, apart from Chief Chumpsiri.

It's bad enough contemplating falling back to the Pub League, but the whole North Stand/£17 million thing is concerning.  It's like the stadium has been left to rot for the last ten years, we joke about the "PRESTO Stand" thing and the hot water, but this is the tip of the iceberg.

The Man-Ure fans made a big thing about this side of things in their anti-Glazer protests this last few years, but we've barely touched on the subject as we're generally distracted by how abjectly C.rap we are on the pitch.

Any thoughts?

There is nobody in upper management that we can interview mate, the chairman is the top of the chain.

That is just one of the many things Daftjon will not tolerate.

Other Clubs can bring in outside investment, sale of shares etc, but this idiot will not even contemplate any help.

Hence the mess the club is in.
