Man City just fell short that season. I remember their fans at our last hone game singing to us "you're going up, we're not". Made me chortle at the time. Emerson Thome Posted May 29, 2021 Share Posted May 29, 2021 All the obvious ones are gone. 97/98 - rubbish start, then the return of Big Ron, Di Canio turning on the style each week, resounding wins of Man U and Arsenal at Hillsborough, the 3-3 Owen game against Liverpool, Sanetti's tears, Andy Booth getting a hat-trick in the Premier League (it really happened), Di Canio rounding the keeper again and again against Southampton, shipping goals for fun every away game.
