Scott Fraser attacking midfielder current with MK Dons,

14 goals, 6 assists in 44 games this season in league one, the season before at Burton he got 5 goals and 11 assists in 30 games. He has a year left on his contract but will be an improvement on anything we current have in our midfield and he has shown over 74 league one games he can score and create

74 games, 19 goals, 15 assists.

Stephen Humphries 23 year old at Rochdale scored 21 goals in last two seasons in 57 games former Fulham youth player and a year left in contract might not want to drop to league two.

Kane Hemmings 36 appearance , 15 goals, 2 assists, he is 30 but at 6ft 2" and with league one experience may be the loan striker to fit DM formation.

We need goals in the team and all 3 of these would cost us less in wages than we have wasted on Brown and Marriott this season.

Scott Fraser is a tidy little player, suspect he could play in the champ , can see a Luton or Coventry in for him

3 great suggestions though,  I’m sure we was linked with Humpreyhs at Rochdale recently ,  as a side note ... for a team that got relegated Rochdale had Humphreys , Matthew Lund and Jimmy Keohane all score double figures

I think it was at the back they struggled, Conceded 78 goals but scored 61, I bet for the neutral 139 goals in 46 games would have been entertaining.

I watched fair few Rochdale games since Conor Grant signed for them.

They played some really good football and often created more chances than their opposition, but they miss a lot and their passing style of football leads to mistakes.

Injuries to some of their key players such as Rathbone, Lund, Ryan, Humphreys... didn't help and some of Bary-Murphy's decisions and team selections cost them League One survival.

Aaron Morley is a type of player you want in front of your back line instead of Pelupessey or Hutchinson. Composed, intelligent playmaker with soft touch and fantastic passing skill, excellent set-piece taker as well. Brains of that Rochdale side.

Keohane is as dependable and consistent  player as you can hope to find at that level, solid on the ball and works very hard. Can play on either flank as full back or wing back and will always put in at least solid performance and won't let anyone down. Their fans voted him their player of the season.

Oliver Rathbone would be their Kieran Lee. He also graduated through Man Utd academy and had to drop to League One level to get regular first team football. Plays very much like Lee as well, works very hard of the ball and posses good touch and passing skill. Can play as holding, box to box or attacking midfielder.

Would be very happy to see either of these 3 in Wednesday shirt next season. They are all good players and wouldn't cost much.

Let’s hope we are out of the embargo by the time the transfer window opens. Maybe we could even have some deals lined up to be announced as soon as the window opens. Forward planning and all that :duntmatter:

Not seen much of Rathbone,   But likes of Fraser , Lund , Keohane and Humphrey all

look better players than anything we currently have

We have to make it an absolute priority to sign players who are up for the battle that league one is,  no fairies dropping down from the champ thinking they’re gonna steamroll the division

Good hard honest graft is what we need, in abundance

Agreed

We must sign players who will see jpining Wednesday as a step up in their career and will be desperate to prove they are good enough to be here and play Championship football with us.
