If so I am fully expecting the back four that finished the last match. And we will see the return of Hutchinson. Not going to want two player under 5"9 in the centre of midfield. When they came to Hillsborough we towered over them at set-pieces. Think the Pulis Land of the Giants days are over for Stoke.
sMacLean
We should play Luongo and Hutch together with Bannan just behind a lone striker. Our version of the Emerson and Vieira double wall at Juventus.

Again, one-nil. Cant see Monk not playing Fletcher-Rhodes if Fletch is fit.
SwellOwl
Luongo has to keep his place. I know Hutch was playing well but 10 yellows already indicates he is still a liability.

I assume hutch is unfit or unwell otherwise why wasn't he at least on the bench in last 2 games instead of pelupessy? Virtually anonymous? Blimey, I thought he was everywhere, particularly 2nd half. I kept thinking he was 2 different players. For me, a midfield of him and Bannan is our best option

Paul..
Hutchinson for me, really impressed me in his last few games before the suspension, is really driving us forward more and not just staying back.
stocksyuto
Happy for either to play really but I'd rather keep a winning side together, our problem is previous managers made to many changes and we had little consistency, monks kept the team together pretty much since hes been here apart from tinkering at the start . Essix Blue
I just think once Luongo really gets into his stride he’ll offer more than Hutch. Hutch has been immense for us and still will be, I just think Luongo offers a bit extra going forward. But it’s a nice dilemma to have. Not forgetting Lee on the bench also who alas hasn’t shown the form of previous years when he’s got on the field.
