@owlstalk
Have a look at this photo from the 90's - which player would you say was the most exciting, the most explosive and the most naturally gifted footballer? Owlstalk Shop

OWL1969
As a Wednesdayite it has to be Waddle. Cantona was the craziest though, madder than a load of sardines trying to avoid the seagulls that followed the trawler.
@owlstalk
Can you imagine a forward line of DiCanio, Hirst, Waddle and Cantona? Owlstalk Shop

OWL1969
Cantona was better at martial arts, flying drop kick on Mr Simmons was excellent.
Captain Sl-OWL-ly
Waddle was the best player I’ve ever seen in a WEDNESDAY shirt, it was an honour and privilege to have seen him grace Hillsborough! Cantona meh! He was never one of us but I have got a photo somewhere of his brother wearing my WEDNESDAY shirt... Oh, what could have been.. Mr. Tom
Most exciting: Waddle for me. Genuine chance of magic every time he touched the ball. One of Cantona's greatest unsung qualities was, in between his semi-regular moments of pure gold, actually being a very workmanlike and reliable midfield general. Waddle on the other hand was more like Gandalf - you wouldn't even see him for long stretches, but whenever he popped up he made everyone else look like...well, Bilbo Baggins. Most explosive: not even worth debating. Cantona was half Napoleon, half Genghis Khan. Waddle, conversely, barely broke a trot once a season because he didn't usually have to, but the fact he could turn most fullbacks inside out at literal walking pace doesn't help him here. Most naturally gifted: dead heat. Apples and oranges. Actually, Newcy Brown and Stella - if you ever had to take both on together, that would be a very dirty pint indeed. A terrifying thought. nevthelodgemoorowl
The best goal I ever saw on GRASS was Gazzas effort against Scotland, all on a tiny piece of Morrocan Black !
