Carlos can take plenty of criticism for obvious mistakes but when you're down to 10 men away from home after 4 minutes, it's fair to say that slating the manager for tactics/subs etc becomes a bit pointless. That's my point though, why waste what little money we have against FFP and give young lads like Penney a chance out of the u23s. But the opening thread was about trying something else with regard to the midfield (presumably to increase the chance of winning), I'm just saying that not being down to 10 men after 4 mins is probably more important than that tactical changes and not within Carlos' control.
