Forestieri not in the squad

He refused to play against Norwich leaving his teammates in the shitt. (An unforgivable act in my eyes, but there you go).

He told Carlos he didn't want to play at Boro away season before last because "he was tired".

He has complained about not playing up front. He's instigated a fight in training with a team mate.  Any other player in the squad, ANY other player would not have been afforded the sort of leeway he has been shown since he's been here. Yet people still treat him like a little precious soul that we should throw an arm around because he's a good player.

He refused to play for the Norwich game-  Yet we ended up in the play offs with Forestieri as Top Scorer

Banging on about about Reach??? YOU have mentioned replacements for FF, I have given you an example of our latest purchase of a left winger.

He's cost more and is no where near as good.

No point trying to debate with him...he admitted he's making 75% of stuff up about all this

lol

I said I would gladly sell FF for £10m providing we bought a replacement with the money. Then you started saying Reach (who we bought ages ago) is FF's replacement and started going on about their respective price tags. Please forgive me if I'm not following your logic.

No one on here knows the facts as to what happened in the week so let's look at some of the facts that we do know

1. FF apologised for the Norwich incident and accepted he was wrong

2. In answer to all those asking "what's he done since then" the answer is "score more goals than anyone else we have"

3. FF has never refused to play left mid....what he said was that the tracking back left him with less energy to attack

4. FF tracks back and dispossesses the opposition more than anyone else....by a mile

5. In the 1 game he has played so far this season he was our best outfield player......by a mile

and anyone who thinks Reach is a better option on the left is very close to being clinically insane

I actually agree with your points Ian.

I do despair at the speed we are willing to hang players out to dry, at the first chance, and with very little fact or detail.

That being said, IF Carlos wants to move him on, and IF he is being a bad apple, I trust cc to make the call. I also trust DC to reinvest the money.

However - whether he's staying or going, Wednesday need to make the call this week, to either give us time to replace him, or to get him back playing. Let's not **** around like last year with the will he/won't he.

Hey up,

You seem to be someone who knows what's going on within the club & I do pay attention to what you post.

Can you shed any more light on the training ground incident and expand on how FF instigated it?

I would not be surprised if it happened but think we would all accept/understand certain levels of mitigation on the part of those involved if we knew how it came about.

So let me get this straight.

This player that we bought for 3 mill, who we need to sell is now worth 10 mill.

Why is he now worth 10 mill?

I can only go on what I've been told. But I wouldn't want to plaster it all over here. I put on here that FF wouldn't be involved today on Thursday. Was shouted down for it and called a "shittstirrer". All I would say is Winnall was involved today and FF wasn't. That tells you all you need to know.

It looks to me like we are putting up the "For Sale" sign without putting up the "For Sale" sign.

by benching him we have alerted possible suitors, if they make a good bid he will be gone.

I don't agree by the way, I think he has to play. But on the left not as a striker, he's a great inside forward coming in from the LEFT!

Kind of get the feeling you are just being argumentative for the sake of it now mate tbh, Liverpool bought Coutinho for £8m but he's now the subject of a £90m bid isn't he? Is it that hard to work out? I said IF we could get £10m I would let him go.

IF.

This seems plausible, if Winnall & FF has a ruck in training & FF is left out of the squad - then the blame would point to FF.

However to assert that we can now sell FF for 3 times his purchase price & simply purchase a replacement is nonsense.
