southportdc
Also worth pointing out that the 100th anniversary was played in this kit. So they could easily sell it as that.
MrsHall
Please no fkn about with white bits up the sides etc...do it right, same as it was, the whole kit. UTO.
elyowl1
I think it should be stripes it's our identity, I would have liked a kit based on our original kit for one season as a throwback even if that meant we did look a bit like Blackburn for one year. This however is different but it will at least beat this years offering
elyowl1
Edit my memory is playing tricks with me I'm sure I saw a picture with us playing in quarters in further research we played in hoops first sorry

Absolutely, I'm more interested in the quality of players that wear the shirt.

We've had stripes the vast majority and they decide on that? Ridiculous isnt it. No doubt our lame dumbarse fanbase will buy it. Needs to be a full boycott of all products from the OwlsShop. A total replica, in modern materials would be good and hard-core. Due to my age this kit or stripes is us. UTO.

Yep it's a slightly irrational reaction - it's a just a shirt isn't it? - but no more irrational than people saying we have to play in blue - it's just a colour isn't it? Imagine if Ashley had tried to do something similar at Newcastle. Or if Dave Allen had done it here. Rotten decision. All about his ego & disrespect. Luv how he has stated that he wants an all blue kit, yet still are taken in by the claim its anything to do with the 60s kit. Feck off Chansiri. Onge
I'm not surprised at the lack of stripes, although I thought we might get a design similar to the Bristol Rovers quarters (wasn't that our first ever kit?). I'm trying to get used to the idea that Chansiri's ego means no stripes ever again... not an easy thing for me to do, especially as I strongly associate my club with blue and white stripes and that tampering with our visual identity in the first place is completely and utterly unnecessary... So you aren't bothered about the shirt as long as it's blue and white. So you are bothered about the shirt....

matthefish2002
Not going to lose any sleep over it but hearing what next seasons home kit is going to be has not made me enjoy my breakfast this morning. Yes I know we have worn it before and everything but doesn't say Sheffield Wednesday to me. A big thumbs down from me.
