£6M FOR TARKOWSKI

Brentford defender James Tarkowski is on his way for a medical at Burnley after a deal was agreed between the clubs, which is believed to be over £6m.

If the fee was half that I'd be disappointed we didn't go for it... but that's just bonkers.

The Fax Machine (1888-2016)

Some sad news is reaching us.

The Fax Machine is no more. At the grand, old age of 128 it has packed in. The plug has been pulled.

Clubs up and down the country tells us that the fax machine has been on life support for a few years now - and all business is done by via that young whipper snapper, electronic mail.

A minute's silence will be held for a national institution at 12noon*.

* Not really

I've got that exact model in a box in my loft!. For people still living in the dark ages that try to send me a fax my printer/copier/scanner intercepts it and deals with it.

All Rhodes lead to Boro?

Posted at11:23

Everyone loves a deadline day twist, and we may well have one.

Jordan Rhodes' move from Blackburn to Middlesbrough looked dead in the water this morning, but we are hearing from one of our reporters that 'lines of communication are back open'.

Interesting...

ROBINHO BACK TO THE PL?

Are we back in 2008? Robinho reportedly wants a move back to England, according to the Daily Mail.

The former Manchester City star, who moved to the Etihad for £33m on Deadline Dau in August 2008, is a free agent after leaving Chinese Super League champions Guangzhou Evergrande.

It is claimed his representatives have sounded out Swansea and Leicester regarding a potential move.

"Both Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele are staying put at Fulham, who have no desire to sell.

"McCormack linked with Middlesbrough and Spurs with Dembele, he is out of contract at the end of the season."

LEAVING ON A JET PLANE...

MK Dons want to sign Jay Emmanuel-Thomas on loan from QPR, according to West London Sport.

The striker has failed to hold down a regular place at Loftus Road and has fallen further down the pecking order since the arrival of Conor Washington.

He seems to move every single transfer window.

Fatty Evans misses out on yet another target. lol

Cardiff City sign Leicester City midfielder Tom Lawrence on loan after beating Leeds United to his signature.

http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-sign-leicester-city-10817266?

Very few sane players will want to play for him if they have other options.

Taking off the blue-and-white tinted specs for a minute, you can imagine that the opportunity to play for Leeds is indeed a very good one for most players that know they will be playing Championship football... but being under the control of that fat odious turd would most probably put the majority off.
