F. Spiksley
Have we covered every single player in the country yet? Getting really boring tbh. January 8th I'm sure the Hamster Wheel can sustain it's tempo for another 3 weeks of healthy and indulgent speculation.
F. Spiksley
I agree we need younger players for now and the future but you still need the wise old heads who have been there and done it Our squad has plenty of wise heads already.
CrosbyKitchens
At this point in time I'd rather play Nuhiuthe world just shuddered to halt and started spinning in the opposite direction. Either that or I've slipped into a parallel universe. Edited January 8, 2016 by CrosbyKitchens

Dagmeister
Goal scoring record suggests otherwise Yes and at the highest level as well as our level. Best days behind him but perhaps a swan song last in him in the right environment.
Guest wilyfox
Kinda think Lambert is on the slide, same as Grant Holt before him. Both worked their way up over the years, couple of good seasons at the top, then follows the rapid decline aged 33+

Both worked their way up over the years, couple of good seasons at the top, then follows the rapid decline aged 33+ Agree as well, only way to get the best out of a limited player is to play specifically to their strengths which limits how you can play, Lambert at the age he is would only suit someone who plays direct football prioritising set pieces, so should definitely stay at West Brom. TheSlicer
What do you think? Financially viable? Hes not really playing at WBA and would link play up very well, can hold the ball up, good with both head and feet and would score plenty of goals. Dont know if WBA would sell/loan though as looks like berahino is on his way out He's got two heads?

I feel for Lambert a bit. Pulis screwed him over, persuading him to join before spending big on Rondon deadline day. Lambert is still a good player; but he is on the slide, and the financial package to get him probably wouldn't be good value at this stage in his career. dorian gray
We're playing sexy football, signing players that can keep the ball on the floor and are technically gifted. Then Rickie Lambert comes in.... as the 'need' for results increases the further we go into the season... knockin' a ball to a 'frontman' and supporting quickly and in numbers will become vital more often... effin' about on the half way line won't get us up... Orlando_Trustful
A beast a few years ago. Nowadays he's just slightly more effective than Steve Howard. Unbelievable that Liverpool signed him the other year.
Lord Snooty
One the wane, but I've no doubt he'd bag a few goals in our current set up. Strikes me as the type would move to play. Financially though I don't think we'd be anywhere close
