Amazing how very one on these lists are players already playing in England/Scotland , yet even when we had no money we signed  Kelher, Dielha, Floro, Nuihu and in Jan we added two more, nobody had heard of. More overseas players are signed these days by clubs than uk players.

Now we have money, why does everyone think we will just , be looking  at home. Even more likely given DC`s comments about Asian market that we will be looking at players with commercial profile in the Asian market.

Proven quality in English football - the very kind we are lacking. Our best outfield player is not our own; that should tell you something.

Surprised to see quite a few thinking Maguire will stay, he's had a poor season for me and I wouldn't be shocked to see SG let him go

I don't think it's because we don don't believe we will sign players from abroad. It's mainly down to the fact people like me probably don't have much knowledge on who we could bring in for overseas, whereas we can suggest UK based players and actually put names to them. Nobody has said we will just be looking at home.

them 3 need to go not good enough by a country mile.

I'd keep Maguire as a squad player. He chips in with goals and performances despite inconsistency.

I'm really looking forward to the retained list in May. Gray said he's pretty much decided already on whom he wants to keep.

I don't mind Mattock, certainly think he's improved season upon season

Whereas I still feel he comes unstuck against a pacey winger. McCleary had him on toast when we played Reading recently .

McCleary was dangerous no doubt about it, but the support and cover Maghoma offered ment Mattocks job was always going to be difficult. It's only my opinion ofcourse not everyone's going to agree, but I rate him above Dielna and Helan who I think is more effective as a winger.
