LocomotiveOwlerton
Got about 5 Argentina shirts, including a TOFFS one, because it’s one of the finest, timeless football shirt designs ever. Plus, a match-worn Peterborough shirt from about 1995-ish that my Dad got given after he played against them for the RAF in a pre-season friendly in Germany. Yeah. But Blackpool though? Just not cricket, that.
jamsandwich
I went through a phase of buying other Blue&White striped foreign shirts. Combining my two loves of SHeffield Wednesday and Interesting Travel. Hertha Berlin and Porto are good ones.
Middlewood Owl
Ordered one of these ... however I'm going to a Lazio game in a month's time so I'm allowed Went to a Lazio game whilst on a city break with the wife, coldest i've ever been at a game just could not believe how cold it was, never expected it and only had a light coat as it had been a fairly warm day. It was a night game and this freezing fog/mist started coming off the river and swirling round the stadium, match wasn't the best either a dull 1-1 draw with Udinese. dobbo
It's not just the fact it's another club's shirt. He's also happy to be a walking advert for WONGA. Inexcusable. And on top of that, he will be giving money to Karl Oyston! Edited January 26, 2015 by dobbo

shandypants
Wearing a "big" foreign team's shirt is just about acceptable, I've got a Barcelona shirt because I've always liked them (going back to the early 80s) but another English side's shirt just because you like the design is mildly cretinous. Check out the kit manufacturer's website, they may do normal shirts in the same design but without the Blackpool badge and sponsors all over it. Wearing a "big" foreign team's shirt is worse! Its fvvcckking appauling to do that - particularly if its a Barcelona or Real Madrid shirt considering how they flout the fair play rules and the favour that they're shown by the Spanish banks, Spanish goverment and UEFA!!! Give yourself a shake man! Edited January 26, 2015 by shandypants
ViolaOwls
Locomotive- Think the argie one is a great kit but I cant understand anyone buying a kit where the country threatens our territory with war and and whole nation hates us with a passion
keefdave
Anyone who wears any shirt apart from their own club and country of birth is a bellend. FACT
F. Spiksley
I'd go for Benfica kit as have a family link to Portugal. I quite like a Colombia kit also. I don't think it is wrong, depends how precious/OCD you are on a viewpoint.

Lee A
When I was about 18 I bought a West Ham shirt with Harewood 10 printed on the back of it Cost me £6 off some dodgy website, got so much grief when I went to footy training in it Bunch of haters
Guest eggsarnie
Some people have bought the pigs shirt, pink shirts and even that of the nation that sunk hms Sheffield.
LocomotiveOwlerton
Yeah, but it's a nice shirt though. I don't support their claims on British territory, or Argentina as a football team. If you looked hard enough at any nation, you could find a reason not to buy or wear their national teams shirt.
shandypants
Some people have bought the pigs shirt, pink shirts and even that of the nation that sunk hms Sheffield. However, they did try to attack Jeremy Clarkson so they can't be that bad. (Note: I quite like clarkson but it was the obvious joke).

TheEnchanter
Why though? Mainly as a keep sake, or for playing football in for sunday league training. And also a few are a bit old now so I grew out of them and needed new ones. I'd buy most of the SWFC kits as well. It was just a bit of an obsession when travelling. adamnich
As a young un i used to get old shirts for a fiver from JJB in Meadowhall. Were good for getting cruffy in and games/PE at school. Even had this monstrosity: Generally as an adult, no. Plus that Blackpool shirt is one of the worst shirts i've ever seen
