MichaelSwfc1867
Is this our best start to a season in the second tier since our relegation from the Premier League? I can't remember many better off the top of my head

horny owl
Before the season started I said to a mate 'it'd be just like Wednesday to get off to a flyer' because we'd had a mediocre pre season and made few signings. It's the 'Wednesday way' to prove you wrong every bleedin time.
parkfieldowl14
Justing going back to 1983/84 season,we also went unbeaten in the first 16/17 games till we slipped up at Crystal Palace and lost 1-0 in the second week of Nov 83.

roaminowl
Sure 08/09 we were 4th after about 6 games? After we beat QPR in front of 14,000 We didn't play QPR until 22 games in. We were 12th then but jumped up to 10th when we beat them 1-0. We were 5th after 5 games that season and then got tonked 6-0 at Reading.
NIOwl
I usually start every season with lofty unwarranted overoptimism. This season i was less hopeful than ever, so for the first time ever, I put a bet on us getting promoted.

Flat Owl
If we manage to beat Forest on Saturday it will equal our start to the 83-84 season after 5 games. We went on to win the next 6 on the spin..
