walkleyblue Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 Up at the crack of dawn like a little kid at Christmas waiting for tonight. Have to admit my enthusiasm was starting to wane a little with the takeover saga and selling Antonio, but a good win on saturday coupled with the signing of Stevie May who looks like he's got the potential to be a proper player has topped the enthusiasm tank back up. I absolutely love the away days but for me there is nothing better than walking throught the park after a few pints and seeing Hillsborough opening up in front of you. Hairs standing up on the back of your neck then walking up the steps to the kop still feels as magical as it did in 1984 when i did that walk with my dad and grandad. My cousin got his yesterday and they stated this may be the case. I can't see it being the case myself, 17,000+ for a League Cup match is very doubtful? Would be nice for McCabe to get a run out as well, but can't see him start, maybe a 2nd half sub? Coke should start to try to keep his form.
