Ronio
After today's fantastic result and 3 points, I reckon Gray will make some changes for this league cup match at home. Starting 11: Kirkland Palmer Lees Zayatte Floro Maguire Lee McCabe Maghoma Madine May Subs: Westwood, Kelhar, Loovens, Mattock, Semedo, Coke, Nuhiu Available for selection: Wildsmith, Sanders, Young, Corry, Betra, Dieseruvwe, Hutchinson Suspensions: Nil Injured: Buxton, Helan, Stobbs, Lavery Out on loan: Nil I think Gray will make at least 5 changes for this cup tie to rest some players for the next home league match against Derby. Hutchinson will be rested, McCabe or Semedo coming in. I would expect to see Stevie May make his debut, and could play alongside Madine. I predict a 3 nil win, a brace from Stevie May and a goal from Madine.
McRightSide
Think you're about right with that, but Semedo will start IMO
Owls_fan_since_1983
Gray will probably changed the team a little, we got Derby and Millwall coming up in the league and will be nice to get a minimum of 4 points (ideally win both) Wednesday 2 Notts Co 1 (not after extra time, not penalties) we will win in 90 minutes, can not do with any extra time matches this season. Swiss Toni
Kirkland Palmer Lees Kelhar Helan Maguire McCabe Semedo Maghoma Madine May Ideal scenario to introduce Kelhar to English football and also give May an hour too. As for Helan and Semedo, it gives them a little game-time as they're coming back from injury. Edited August 9, 2014 by Babushka1867

agentwalker
wouldn't be surprised if we see Matt Young in as well in for Palmer (looked quality in the game he played) and Maghoma rested for another development player.
richowl
Perfect opportunity to introduce May. Give him an hour in preparation for next Saturday.

Good shout about Young. I think he could be in contention to play to give Palmer a rest. We don't have any options out wide to rest Maghoma. Could be a straight swap with Floro and Mattock keeping his place.

Couldn't agree more. Would play that side. The last thing we need is more injuries to first team players.
SheffieldOwl47
I think Palmer and Hutchinson will and other key players will be rested, don't think we will have wide men for this game as it is too risky for injury, although I do think Maguire will play but in a CF posisition: (4-1-2-1-2) Kirkland Young Kehlar Loovens Floro Semedo McCabe Coke Maguire Madine May Edited August 9, 2014 by SheffieldOwl47

SheffieldOwl47
So basically give notts countys wingers/wing backs a free run at two very inexperienced players? Didn't think of that haha, but it would give them experience, and substitutions are always available
