And if money was an issue before, why now we have some is Tardeiu (sp?) now only a possibility? And why after releasing a ruck load of top earners are we still short of budget despite only signing up a few replacements? Something doesnt add up here... we're heading into a season tomorrow woefully underprepared with regards to our squad. On some levels I understand why - the taveover has hit trouble, hopefully solveable - but it seems to me as though we've been very naive and now are in a mad rush to get one player in now that our main asset (Antonio) has been sold. Tards could have been a post-take over luxury player? Since that looks fubared, the Antonio money is being used to bring in players in areas where we are much more desperate.
