Dronny Owl
Was talking to a mate (who unfortunately is a blunt albeit an armchair fan) anyway he reminded me that United scored the very first Premier League goal and that we (Wednesday) wished we had a player of Brian Deanes calibre. I told him we didnt as we had Hirsty and Donkey Deane wasn't fit to lace Hirstys boots. I asked him the question .... Do you honestly think Deane was better than Hirst? No answer, so I asked another question, would United have signed Hirsty if they had enough cash? Yes was the answer. Would we have wanted Deane? nope I replied. Do they really think Deane was better? Not being a Blunt I didn't really see much of Deane, but what I did (semi final) I wasn't impressed. Looked a bit.......poo poo to be honest. Jon Adam
Hirst is probably the best out and out striker I've seen at Hillsborough.
Dronny Owl
Hirst is probably the best out and out striker I've seen at Hillsborough. Yes same here. He had it all could score with either Left or Right and his head. Strong, fast and agile. If only Steve Bould hadn't done him....
