robster_owl
A chant versus abh / gbh is somewhat different is it not? Ones legal if not immoral and ones illegal - end of story.
Guest Lawrie Maddens Hump
Leeds fans are surely not free from singing derogatory songs! Totally disagree with the actions of some of our fans though. Scum amongst us.

OhForAnotherShez
Shameful chants about Turkey. How would we feel if our mates had been killed. Sorry Leeds, I thought we were above that and rest assured some of US were also booing it.
JoshTheOwl
I disagree with the chants but what else do you expect? Rivalry, our manager being subjected to chants from away fans, our player being attacked. We are going to retaliate even if its not the right thing to do. Tommo_
I do agree that stooping to their pathetic level with the Turkey chants was a ridiculous thing to do. But yet again their true colours shone through No fan base in any sport in any country could out do Leeds fans in terms of indecency

ex_retfordowl
And Leeds chants to man u about Munich? Dont condone it for one minute but no excuse for what that knob did. Jones was getting it from theirs as was paddy from the kop. None of its right but unfortunately it happens.
lesvegas
Eh? So you're saying one of their 'fans' assaulting Kirkland after they scored was a direct consequence of chanting? It kicked off before the goal went in because of the chanting, fans nealry got to each other before the goal There is no need for it I was there at Old Trafford in 93 when a few idiot's got load's of Wednesday fans hammered

GMOwl72
Emotions run high and fans chant more often than not to get a reaction & wind each other up. Leeds chant about Dave Jones's child abuse allegations hence his 'vile animals, all of them' quote at the end. Some Wednesday fans retaliate with turkey chants (not the right thing but it was always on the cards). It's the they are slagging one of us off what can we do to return the compliment attitude. That together with what we saw tonight is the ugly side of not just football but society. Football simply seems to provide a vehicle for a number of idiots to act like aresholes.
