The article that just briefly mentions the signing of Spiksley is quality; he has no idea what a legend that man was to become. It's a sobering thought that every person that wrote those letters is now dead, and even more thought-provoking that there is no way that they could have imagined that their letters would be republished in over 100 years on something called "the internet" But, even more importantly, they WERE all Wednesday! MKowl is right you could be reading some of the threads on here, allowing for the better standard of English and they displayed. I was trying to spot with letter was written by Neil's great grandad but none of them had managed to work in any cross promotion of the brass band concert in western park.
