Guest foreverSWFC
Slightly disappointed, his injury record puts me off, but could be a great bit of business. What about Heaton though? Thought he would have been the better option tbh.
KivoOwl
Very strange. Excellent keeper - probably our best technically since Scott Carson, but his injury record is depressing reading. Tom Heaton won't be signing now i'd imagine - and Bywater probably won't be here next season. Not too thrilling tbh, has a feeling of Jeffers about it. Guest Sheff Owl
On the OS he says he's been fit for the last 2 years. He went on loan to Donny and didn't last a week, was sent back to Wigan due to injury.
Weshallovercome
I'm guessing we're not signing Heaton then? Unless Bywater and Weaver are both going?

swfc-dan
Not conviced by this but saying that: Kirkland said: "This is a fantastic move for me and I am delighted to be here. "ITher ehave been stories about injuries but I have been fully fit for the last two seasons at Wigan and really frustrated at being a number two. "I'm chomping at the bit to start playing again and to join a club like Sheffield Wednesday at this time is a great move. "Everybody saw what happened at Hillsborough on the last day of the season and to think that I will be part of that is really exciting." From the OS. Bluesteel
Perhaps between them Weaver and Kirkland can stay fit for long enough to provide cover for the number 1 spot at various points. Good keeper on his day, better than what weve had in recent years, but dissapointed that it isnt Tom Heaton. I'm not sure Heaton would want to come to us to be no.2. Edited May 23, 2012 by oz_owl
