sweetsheri
The only crumb of positivity there is that the vast majority of our managers have been English...
nebneeb
Good stats from Megson's point of view. Although clearly skewed by the fact we are in league 1 and the aim is promotion. A similar win rate in the championship would have seen us get automatic promotion or a playoff place, so Sturrock and Laws were always going to have their work cut out to match it. It will also be slightly worse once it is updated to include our games since the 9th of Jan.

That's up to 4th February. Recent results have pushed it down to 43.55%. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Megson Not that much better than Alan Irvine on 40.68%
0114
Win ratio means nothing. Promotion does and trophies. We are in L1 in his first year and I should hope that his win ratio is more than half if we go up but that's only due to the length of time he's had his job. Sturrocks ratio after his first season must have been the highest yet when we got in Championship we were never going to win promotion again so win ratios never show where the club was at or what objectives in the season are. Furious George
Look at the league table. Let's be right here, you support a team of serial bottlers. Big games and semi finals, play off finals, relegation battles when you are favourites to stop up by some margin.... ....I'm looking at the league table and if there's one team I'm confident of throwing it away its your lot. BRADDAZ
Could be worse, we could be bottling it against exeter, stevenage and chesterfield. I wouldn't start taking the wee wee just yet porky. Egg on face springs to mind, especially considering your football clubs record of throwing things away....
