  1. Yeah, like many I’m pretty deflated this morning. Not because of yesterday, or recent reversals - because we are facing our second relegation caused entirely by Chansiri and he will still own the club until he’s completely bored of it. I’ll be supporting the team on Sunday and if we were to win some renewed hope - but it’s all in vain whilst we wait for Chansiri’s next meltdown.
  2. Hopefully this gets resolved and we have a fully committed MJ for the remaining games. At the top of his game, he’s a big miss.
  3. It tells you how bad we’ve had it since relegation from the prem that we can have a debate on the worst chairman. Chansiri is hands down the most incompetent, having apparently spunked his fortune turning us from a mid-table championship team into a L1 yo-yo team. Dave Allen was a different kind of bad, suing fans.
  4. At the start of the season we were pretty much bottom of the championship on every prediction I saw. That’s because they saw us as having the worst squad. All down to Chansiri. No upturn will come until he is gone.
  5. We won’t turn a corner until Chansiri has sold up.
  6. To be honest, with Tuesday and Friday fixtures this week - Röhl had to play a weaker team. Coventry had the luxury of an extra day so kept their best players. so, in hindsight, it’s no great surprise that we were well beaten.
  7. On the plus side, we won’t have to play this lot again for at least 18 months.
  8. If Röhl manages to keep us up - it will be a miracle. Until the millstone that is Chansiri is gone - we are going to remain a Championship / L1 yo-yo club.
  9. Agree 100%. They have better players all over the pitch and that’s down to a coherent, planned transfer strategy. We will remain a Championship / L1 yo-yo club until DC is gone.
  10. It’s not the last chance - we’re always at the mercy of a duff ref.
  11. I must be losing my marbles - I’m confident that he can keep us up. But - if we do go down, then I think he’s the man to bring us back up stronger.
  12. I said to my son yesterday that Rohl is the most exciting manager we’ve had since Big Ron. Its a bizarre thing to say when we’ve lost 3 out of 4 - but I’m actually confident that we can stay up. if DC can back him and leave him to it - this is a manager able to succeed in the championship without parachute money.
  13. The reality is that there’s no fit and proper test that the EFL could have applied to DC that would have foretold his lunacy. Football needs an ownership model that prevents football clubs from becoming the toys of the super-rich - that’s the only way to prevent situations like ours.
  14. Rohl in one and a bit weeks has made a huge improvement. Sadly he can’t turn league 1 strikers into championship strikers, can’t do anything about fabulous free kicks against the run of play and can’t stop error prone players making errors. Hopefully he’s got the recruitment reigns and is allowed to rebuild in L1 next season.
  15. He summarised the situation perfectly. Bit depressing though…
