sturutter
Hopefully we can just win both games and make ourselves safe, but, in the likely event that that doesn't happen, alot is going to go on the circumstances of other games. One big worry is that Norwich go to Birmingham on the last day with their playoff place 100% safe, and able to rest into it. The only team that can pressure them is Hull. We badly need Hull to match Norwich's result this weekend, and so that probably means we need them to win. It would put them only with the tiny chance of a goal difference overhaul, but there could be the world of difference on the last day between Norwich being 100% safe and not 100% safe, and so Hull vs Ipswich is far more important to us than it seems. The other side of the coin is we may want Ipswich to still be in the automatic promotion hunt, so they go full pelt against Huddersfield on the last day of the season. All we can do is take care of our own business. 4
Costello 77
3 points for a win is the best innovation in football imo.... closely followed by the playoffs.
Ponte_Owl85
There is so many permutations. We just have to concentrate on ourselves and if we fizz up, mucky our knees and look up

Unless Coventry beat Blackburn. In which case, we could do with Ipswich winning their games to keep Leicester under pressure when they play Blackburn on the last day. Ever the pessimist
Been pondering it and I can only see Wednesday v Brum for the last place, with us needing to better Brum’s last day result.

Not definitively at all but gives us a big chance , probably could afford to draw at Sunderland . Massive boost if we win Saturday

Or Blackburn to lose against both Coventry and Leicester.
REDOWL
Two wins ,against WBA and Sunderland, will ease our nerves just a little bit. It's on the cards and we can co it. 1

Geörge Whitebread
It's quite bizarre to find ourselves in a situation whereby two defeats guarantees relegation while two victories guarantees survival... regardless of what anyone else does. I don't think I've ever seen that scenario before.
